Contributing to the household by doing chores is just part of being an adult. I’m sure your next spouse will appreciate that you’re willing to share domestic responsibilities and do what’s needed for a nice, clean home (and that they don’t have to nag at you to get things done.) Keep up the good work!

My husband very rarely unloads the dishes or cooks and he never ever does laundry and honestly it’s upsetting because he just doesn’t seem to care that it will make my life just a bit easier... I wouldn’t expect him to do those things in order to have sex with him, but it would be nice of him sometimes, ya know? I hope your spouse at least acknowledges how thoughtful and helpful it is of you to do all these things, even if it’s not the type of acknowledgment you’re hoping for (:
