Explain why Professional Wrestling is the pinnacle of modern storytelling like I am your English Professor, and I'm about to fail you for not actually reading the books you were assigned.

To transcend the malfeasance of society, one must purify the subconscious of the masses through the a morality play of sometimes variable quality. This is most easily demonstrated through the inception of a representation of said malfeasances, a heel. One of the most illustrious being The Iron Sheik, and the hero of Hulkamania who struck him down.

At the height of tensions in the Iran Contra scandals Iron Sheik would proclaim his allegiance to the Soviet Union, and sing both the Iranian and Soviet national anthem. This disrespect rang across America from the Atlantic to the Pacific, and spread worldwide Every broadcast our American way of life was assaulted, insulted, and ransacked by his behavior. However, the true horror came from his dreaded Camel Clutch which he used to rampage through the grand heroes of the WWF.

Then there was Hogan. Not yet the symbol we see him as today, but still a grand figure he was given the responsibility of a nation to defeat the psychological terrorism of the Iron Sheik. He was to avenge the fallen comrades, those victimized by the infamous Camel Clutch. His future was as massive as the pride of the nation he fought for.

The impromptu match took place at Madison Square Garden, where a was spontaneously booked when Bob Backlund backed out from facing The Iron Sheik. When there was no opponent, the sound of destiny was blared across the arena.

'I am a real American.' Millions across the nation cheered loudly as the greatest American who ever lived walked into the ring, as every man, woman and child wept with tears of hope that yes, this could be the end of this Iranians tyranny. They all stood as real Americans. Little did they know, this was the hero that would save them from scurvy by getting the youth to take their vitamins everyday. That day had come, but it was not yet the hour.

The Hulkster beat The Iron Sheik relentlessly with the only five moves he knew. He posed, he smirked, he winked, and beat The Sheik with voracity reserved only for the highest quality of pay-per-views. When suddenly... he, along with the nation, were captured in the dastardly Camel Clutch! It was rumored, at this moment the DOW fell 500 points. Our American way of life was in the hands of The Iron Sheik, and the sole duty of escape was thrust upon Hulk Hogan.

Gritting his teeth, averting the despair of defeat... Hogan rose to his feet with the 300 pound Iranian Camel Clutching onto his back. Thrusting his back into the turnbuckle, spritely Hogan escaped as The Sheik attempted to recovery... but how could any man escape the inescapable? Hulk Hogan was not a man. Hulk Hogan was Hulk Hogan.

The Big Leg Drop, one of the five glorious moves of Hogan, would be the final nail in the coffin of Iranian and Russian Nationalism in America. The defeat of The Iron Sheik resounded in the spirits of all Americans... and Hulkamania was born.
