This time period is so stressful. Sometimes I remind myself that many different generations have thought an apocalypse was imminent and maybe I’m just getting older and my own mortality is causing an existential reckoning and it’s all in my head. But then I remember that the world is quite literally in fire. There really is fire in the ocean at the moment. And the animals, including humans, are dying from preventable deaths. And our culture is tearing itself apart. What will the end times look like if not this?
