I (F) think that men should be able to opt-out of a pregnancy completely. If a man really doesn’t want to have children, and takes the necassary precautions to avoid pregnancy, he shouldn’t be forced to pay childsupport if he does get someone pregnant who decides to keep it against his wishes.

As an aside, I fail to understand why a child isn't placed primarily with whomever can provide for them. It makes no sense to impugn the income of one low earner so that someone who refuses to work can care for those people's child. This has stupid consequences, like say, the one who refuses to work going on all forms of welfare and putting the money they get towards rent and expenses and living off the welfare instead of seeking work, then the person being garnished having a child with someone else and now has to go on any forms of welfare they can get as well because the amount they take leaves them with nothing to provide for that child. Asinine, self-defeating laws passed in the wake of some knee jerk news reports that came and went during the 90's.
