It tends to amplify who we already are or bring out a side that's suppressed, but always there. If my wife came to me with the same story, I'd be stunned either way. I'd feel like she had these urges while sober, just didn't have the nerve to act on them.

I mean, I'm in a relationship and I have the occasional urge to do stuff with other people but I never act on it because I know it's wrong and unacceptable. What the heck is wrong with having sexual urges for other people that you can't control?
