Feminists of Reddit; What gendered issue sounds like Tumblrism at first, but actually makes a lot of sense when explained properly?

I don't think anyone actually thinks to themselves, "I'm going to treat this person like an object, that way they know I'm better than them.

Doesn't that pretty much say everything?

I'm not sure I understand the lack of attention one. Can you please elaborate?

Is this really so hard to understand? Everyone needs attention, some more than others, and some are willing to annoy others to get it.

Now I'll give you an example of how some females get attention; The other day i was at the gym, I see this girl wearing clothes that's actually against the rules of the gym. She is wearing shorts so short that you can see the bottom of her ass. Do you think she just casually wore these? No fucking way she did, she wanted all the attention she could get. And no, it's not that big of a deal, but it can be kind of annoying and make you lose focus. But we don't cry, cause it's not a big fucking deal, just like catcalling isn't a big fucking deal.

I do understand that some people might do some catcalling that's fucked up, but the far majority is just harmless stupid comments, which you and many others act like are the fucking worst thing about society and how men just objectifying women. I really don't get the objectifying thing.
