I finally figured out how to shut down antivaxxers.

The only way to change someone's mind is to appeal to their heart and their emotions. You will find that people often say they're swayed by evidence, but what they're really saying is they're swayed by evidence to a conclusion that they already agree with, or something they haven't thought much about, so any information they get they'll believe. This isn't limited to fields such as science, but also things like history or even linguistics. It's one of the reasons why historical myths are so ever prevalent, despite the numerous mythbusting attempts (Spartans with lambda shields is one of the more prevalent ones that isn't even immune from academic institutions).
