Whoops maybe I should've provided a video with what I meant by burning my poi. My bad!
So basically, two "heads" made out of fire resistant material (Kevlar in my case) attached to tethers with grips at the end, doused in flammable liquid (lamp oil in my case) which you dance with.
This is what I want to do outside in the open, following the fire safety procedures where I can set nothing (but myself, even though that is highly unlikely) on fire and I'm wondering if I can get into trouble for doing so.
Oh and I didn't mean it's ridiculous to call for help when you see flames, but rather, since this seems to be more of a "controlled" fire I was thinking maybe someone would get the wrong idea (especially the elderly who might've never seen something like this in their lives) of what I'm doing and would call the authorities to see what's up!
