4. hehe... this msg made me crave for some dark chocolate. I literally searched the fridge a lil bit in between songs. unfortunately it wasn't enough to stop my body from needing sleep.
and~ bananas are nice stuff to eat in between songs when grinding during short breaks and during lunch (stuff some bananas in between songs, and chew while playing)
5. haha. this sorta helped me loosen up and smile a bit during the grind. it's not that bad~
6. puts on shades// hehe.. would've been nice if I was able to make a short reddit post at that time.. but it would waste too much time.
7. grinding non-stop? yeah.. I guess that's what I did xD even while eating, and short toilet breaks (there's so much you can do in between songs but never don't stop tapping the screen) lol
hmm.. thinking about it.. I guess I pretty much "almost" had regular sleep throughout the event.. any less and I couldn't play properly. I'd be groggy and would space out from time to time in between and sometimes even during songs.. which really ruins the efficiency.
8. yeah... it sure was quiet huh? but that was nice for you to help out your cousin. ~~imagines you playing around and taking care of the 4 and 7yr old kids :)
hmm.. rather than them pulling out early.. I hoped I could match up to them.. in the end, LuckySSL pulled back a day early for us to tie.
goals.. goals.. sigh... looking back.. I've failed several goals... failed to reach 2m.. failed to collect 500 stickers+Rs to idolize Animal Maki v2 during or right after the event.. failed to catch up to your rank.. failed to reach rank 250.. failed to reach a clean 1.6m for a cleaner score tie with LuckySSL... failed a successful name train at some point since I changed right before the event ended.. but most people checked the ranking after the event...
and here I was worried how my name would be recorded here only to find out that it no longer keeps records from when we had real time ranking updates.. ||OTL|| then last top8, I forgot to take a pic with my account's real name
oh my god... too much negativity... off to the next topic~
9. aww, thanks for your concern and recognition~ btw. it really was a big mental boost when I knew someone other than my family is genuinely concerned for me. :)
btw, really glad I bought some special blue lens protective computer eye glasses. (if you're curious.. the brand and kind was called Crizal Prevencia) it worked wonders throughout the event since last time at top 8 MakiSM, there were times when my vision went so bad that I can't even distinguish their faces. but these glasses helped me out till the very end
10. hmm.. how poetic~ hehe.. I wished I could've grinded a bit more to 1m before sleeping.. but at that point, I couldn't manage, really needed my sleep. so.. yeah.. and I guess yuki no reason was a bigger threat than otomeshiki for some odd reason.. and soreboku it's our miraculous time.. didn't really fail otomeshiki too much in the event iirc.

13. good morning~ yeah.. I really wished I could've participated in the extra life stream... it just had to be on Maki's Chafest... ||OTL||
14. I'm so glad most of this event happened while mom's not home. she wouldn't let me play while eating.. or rather.. stuff a couple of spoons full of food in between songs lol. there were times when a meal took up to 45 mins hahaha~
grind in peace? nuu~ whenever I feel worn out or need some 10 seconds of break, I check some messages. trust me, whenever I read messages. it doesnt take more than 15 seconds~
16. yup. I'm actually surprised LuckySSL was willing to wait almost 24 hrs for me to catch up for a tie.. and that he trusted that I won't take advantage and push him down to 2nd place. but this was also pretty much a big challenge since I had some 200k pts to grind, and I had work.. darn this was the biggest part of the struggle for the event. I was so close to just going absent from work.. but I just cant.. irl responsibilities.. hehe..

unfortunately.. LuckySSL said it's better that we secure the tie rather than keep pushing it. though I genuinely wanted to keep grinding for another 2 hrs.. but oh well.. better safe than sorry.. and I was thinking.. worst case scenario and we can't tie.. I'll let LuckySSL be #1 and I'll step down to #2.
19. It's the finish line~ I made it to the other side~ and just like Honoka said.. I didn't settle for less and aimed for the top~ till the next Maki event. next time.. I hope I'm in a better position for the event since this time, out of 9 days of this event.. I had 4 days of work.. which was one of the biggest reason why I can't take on LuckySSL head-on.
but.. it's a success~~
