So you need to see the photo and review the medical records? What are you expecting to see in them that the New Yorker or the doctor haven't already pointed out? A little signet ring imprint on the cheek in the photo with the Schneiderman family crest? I'm sorry for being snarky, but what evidence would satisfy you here that you could reasonably expect to find?

Of course this stuff matters! We'd need to see if these marks are obviously evidence of abuse like the article claims or if it's exaggerated crap that's more consistent with consensual sexual roleplaying. I would want to see evidence tying Schneiderman directly to this stuff, much like we had with Weinstein, much like we had with Moore.

You think multiple girlfriends got unhealthily skinny, sustained mysterious injuries (and attested to Schneiderman's own incontinent behavior), and some slick Republican fixer found out about it all and concocted elaborate stories for each ex girlfriend to tell, convincing their friends to back up their lies? Use Occam's razor here and I'm sure you'll have to agree that this merits, at the least, a stepping aside. It's not like there aren't any competent attorneys who can step into his place

I agree with all this in theory. But again, I want to see the evidence myself. The timing of this is just too expected and too ridiculous. If it's true then yes, kick him to the curb, but again, we need to kick all these other assholes to the curb, too. I am tired of this dynamic where the left (and anyone who is against Trump) is expected to "play fair" and step aside while the right gets to act hypocritically, decline to concede/resign, and/or evade criminal conduct.
