I am in total agreement with you on that. That guy is the scum of the earth. I am trying to make a point that goes beyond some racist ass. I'm trying to expllain the nature of racism in the first place. The ass is exponentially worse than OP. OP is completely justified with his anger.

To explain further let me just say that human interaction at its core is based in neurological processes. When we perceive, we make judgments and sometimes form biases which ultimately get in the way of the true understanding. This is where exactly hatred stems.

If I look at someone with a middle eastern skin color and don't understand the difference between sihk and muslim that doesn't make me a daft idiot. OP was classifying me with the racist ass because i never read about his religion. The two cultures look alike. Theyre descendants from the same people. I perceive them together because thats a fundamental psychological process. I perceive a woman to be a "her" and label them with that symbol even though she might identify as something else. that doesnt make me a dumb fuck. We are all being so touchy with language that we cant talk, cant connect. That is the beginning of the end when we can't connect with other types of people.

OP classified me with the racist ass because i dont know his culture(theres too many to keep track of. i dont expect people to know im 1/4 polish when they classify me as "white"). And in doing so he did the same thing as the racist ass to a lesser degree. This causes a spiral of hatred and thats not right. OP formed a bias that day about white people whether he wanted to or not. we have to work to overcome these biases and realize we are all just people. some of us are assholes but not all of us. the racist ass is a racist ass because he does racist asshole-ish things. not because he doesnt know the difference between a muslim and a sihk.

Side note: op was also slightly racist to muslims by GROUPING them as terrorists.

we cant fight ignorance and hatred with more ignorance and hatred. This only polarizes us into groups. Then eventually it spurs violence. set aside your anger and see things for what they are.
