Future Social Worker

When a man doesn’t want a child with a woman, he doesn’t have a choice. The woman decides for him. If a man doesn’t want a child and the woman does, they will have a child together. The woman does not have to work if she chooses not to, and she will be required to spend her time with the child providing care or else find appropriate child care if she chooses to work. The man will be forced to work and provide support. If the man chooses not to work he will not be granted the duty of providing childcare while the woman works. If the man chooses not to work the woman has the option available to sue him and force him to work or else strip him of his drivers license.

Women are now in the position men have always been in - even if they don’t want a child it’s not their choice. If women want to work without a child they no longer have the freedom to choose to do so. Men never had this freedom to choose.

I see the overturning of Roe v Wade as a sort of equalization of the power dynamic between genders in parenting a child.
