Regular Check-In Post

I got you man, I used to work in a toxic environment too. I just didn't care about what other people would say about the work I was doing. Just make sure you are productive at work, and ignore all the bullshit that surrounds you. I used to work as a waiter and I was always making sure that I was anticipating the work before I got assigned to it. Observe your workplace and actively look for things to do. When you are actually doing something meaningful there is no reason for people to tell you that you're not doing well. Thus you won't feel like having to comfort yourself with alcohol anymore. Be proud of all the work you do, even if it's a shit job. It's hard enough to be productive anyway, so see everything you do as an accomplishment. even though others might think you haven't done anything. At the end of the day, you're the one that knows what you've been up to all day. The only requirement is that you actually have to do the work, even if you don't like it.

In your spare time, you could look for a different job. If you are not enjoying it, then there's no reason you should be doing it. Just make sure you have a different job before quiting what you are doing now.
