I am WAY fucking tougher than anyone in the 18-35 age group and I will outwork and outfight ANYONE in that age group... piece of cake. Yep that is what I am saying - that age group as zero work ethic compared to 36-50 year olds. Chasm of difference. Why we have the jobs and the money and they don't... :)

For someone who keeps harping on relevance and being in touch, citing a stat from 1970 is preposterous. College costs money. Advanced degrees are bullshit. The next bubble is the college loan bubble. Personally, if I was in the 18-35 range I would pursue a trade. But, oh wait that would mean getting your wittle hands dirty and lifting big ol' mean heavy stuff!!! So play your advanced degree game, load up on the debt and run into brick walls when people like me out pace you in our jobs and don't leave...

In my major and for that time period my starting salary was competitive. I accepted it and dealt with it, unlike 18-35 year olds now who expect to make more than the president of the company right out of school without proving themselves or doing jack shit other than having 3 bullshit letters after their names... yada yada yada. We just hired one. He has a nice vocabulary. Other than that he cannot even figure out how to use the coffee maker in the lunch room. PhD. Yeahhhhh.

Actually I like their music. And the clothing is cool too - I especially like the way younger women dress like whores now days - it is quite enjoyable. Drain on society? I never said that. Delusional grandiose expectations of what they are worth? Absolutely. Same rule for any age now days... you are worth what you you bring to any company. Solving a problem, managing a difficult project, finding a solution, negotiating a better price, selling more widgets. If you are not doing any of that it matters very little how you scored in your honors classes... :)

Ummm Honestly? Yeah. The only jobs that really require advanced degrees are medical ones (Doctors, surgeons, medical researchers) other than those, do you really think an advanced degree really matters??? So if some shlub gets his MBA online at night - then what - he is magically more valuable to the company? If I still outsell him or still out produce him, does the MBA matter??? Maybe it will get him an interview elsewhere, but if he is still the same shlub, he won't last long there either... c'mon be for real... it's a scam.
