All too often guys will just start talking over me mid-sentence. Like, how the fuck have you not learned that interrupting someone is a shit thing to do? It's gotten to a point where if someone interrupts me I'll continue my sentence loudly and unbothered.

Story time! I'm in the middle of an investigation with my school because a married man who is twice my age has been sexually harassing and stalking me. A classmate (of the dude genre) witnessed some of this behavior and gave his side of the story to the investigator.

Now, I'm a 6'1" that always has at least two visible knives on me at all times. I lift heavy and I swear like an Irish pirate-trucker. This classmate of mine is about the same height, 135 pounds soaking wet, and riddled with IBS. He was trying to talk to me about how his meeting went, and whenever I would take the opportunity to respond to something he said, he would loudly interrupt me to go on some white-knight diatribe. The day I need a lanky diseased baby fighting my battles for me is the day I get out in the fucking ground.

Show some respect. When someone else is talking, shut the fuck up!
