A group of 2.4M veterans is pushing the VA to allow medical pot

I'm really not sure who you're calling a young liberal. But if by chance you're directing your ire towards me I'll let you know I'm not young, not by a long shot.

Where do you get this picture that we don't give a shit about other issues? Do you think it is not possible to care about multiple issues concurrently? Check my post history.

As far as smoking bongs or rolling it up or smoking a bowl? I don't answer to you.

You do realize that some of us have gone through some serious shit right? You do realize that the medications provided by VA doctors turns us into emotionless zombies right? You do understand, because you've done your research, that having your fight or flight response turned all the way up all of the time is debilitating in the long run. Right?

And you also know that for some of us, marijuana has been the only substance that has given us a little bit of our lives back.

Do you think that a substance that can provide so much relief should be kept from us? From anyone? I don't smoke weed to get high. I admit, it's a terrific side effect, but I smoke to be able to stop being afraid of being alive. I have a need to shut down my flight or fight response. Don't you think that's is important to me?
