How did I make it seem like it is an immediate problem when I was discussing ADULT circumcision? Obviously to not be circumcised as a child means it wasn't a problem until adulthood? Along with that I was discussing my personal experience. Yes, the only man I ever met who was uncircumcised did have problems due to that. It doesn't mean I think all men uncircumcised will have problems. Circumcision, outside the jewish faith, is a historically new problem and it isn't like every man in history died from being uncircumcised.

I did think it was a preventative measure, which was reinforced by my seeing an uncircumcised man having complications due to that.
