I’m 23 and I quit facebook when I was 18 (and at university), the reason why I quit is because I had this obsessive guy harassing me and facebook could give two fucks about it. Even though I did everything I could to contact them at the time.

Besides every single guy who happened to ask me out that year thinking I was lying when I said “sorry I don’t have facebook”, my life improved a lot.

But also, almost all my professors used facebook groups to put up important announcements, details on projects and etc. So even though I had quit that garbage I was forced to go back with a stupid blank profile just so I wouldn’t fail at uni. And of course I wasn’t able to put up a random name because of their stupid name system. So I had all of these people who know me contact me asking if I blocked them and created a new profile.

Fuck facebook, fuck that university, fuck that creep and fuck that stupid lizard.
