Either I'll have to find the quote or someone can help, but the political thinker Hannah Arendt had a line in a book she wrote about the trial of Adolf Eichmann concerning what was told to him when his sentence was read to him in 1961. In essence, he was informed that he'd be killed for what he had done as a Nazi because there was no one who wanted to share this earth with him.

I hope we take a hint from the Nuremburg Trials and let this stand as a lesson on how we handle hate crimes and racists in the future. As a sociology major, it is infuriating to see that people think racial hatred only flows in one direction. Systemic trends aside, racial discrimination doesn't know any bounds.
