Helping others is need is the greatest thing one can do

Why do you feel that way?

I felt that it helps in three ways:

1) it’s saying anyone can do this - with his position, he’s using whatever little resources he has to improve his community

2) it’s showing a positive restaurant experience & giving him exposure - he gonna need customers to come in so he can help, it’s creating a unique atmosphere that forces/allows people experiencing homelessness to interact with other members and feel equal

3) it’s showing and not telling how powerful immigrants can be - like there’s a lot of xenophobia and some is warranted I agree, but not all, this guy is a great American and showing it in a easy to handle film fits a nice narrative to share. It’s apolitical
