Hey, can someone confirm this review? I haven't been able to find an article proving this right, so I'd figured I would head to Reddit. Thanks!

I saw that article you linked as well. Looking at that, I'd be willing to believe that someone from the fired employees camp "leaked" it to try and make Funimation look bad in the wake of his firing and give them ammunition to say "it's always been like this but they're singling me out" for his lawsuit.

The reason that article has it dead wrong in my opinion is that the two things it's trying to compare are fundemtnally different. One is a private thing meant to allow the crew to blow off steam and have some fun at literally no ones expense (if that tape was in fact made 20 years ago and offended no one for 20 years, but it is only leaking NOW, post that lawsuit then come on...), and the other is one guy tweeting and actually sexually harassing his coworkers to the point where it's actually being reported multiple times and he's been fired for it.

One is incredibly public and has a record of issues both with the company as other coworkers actually complained about it and literally on a public social media site where he represented the brand with a verified check saying he was a Funimation actor. The other is a standard practice of the industry that doesn't have any effect on the product, isn't meant for public consumption, and was apparently benign enough to stay buried until one guy needed it to establish a history.
