There's loads of parallels you could make.
The best way dotcom was explained was from a veteran on here who said companies were being created with .com in the name and immediately valued at 500m (2-3bn today) because that's basically what was happening.

The parallel to dotcom is crypto imo.

You saw dogecoin and others coins basically being invested in like crazy and then shooting off a cliff.
People were still driving without realizing there was no road below them.
There has been a few companies similar. Either they said something to do with crypto and their share prices sky rocketed.

There will be another craze I'm sure.
