How do I become 'fashion savvy'.

Pinterest, trust me on this one. Though some petty minds will call out "fake and gay", it is after all merely a forum on which women share their dreams and take pride in it as narrowing down your set of dreams publicly is any achievement.

When I started swallowing the pill, I stopped gaming and sold my gear to buy proper clothes. I wanted to utilize the clothes I already have and combine them with new trends. Naturally, I tried googling things like "navy coat men fashion" to find what looks I can go for with my coat so I know what else to buy. Google sucked, you can try a couple of searches yourself.

Enter pinterest where you can actually do that. Write the look you're looking for (hipster, beach vacation, street rocker, smart casual, each look has some famous name so fool around until you notice the one that best fits your personality), write the item you have and have a list of photos compiled of the result. So open your wardrobe, throw out the shit that doesn't fit you, minimize, then spend a good 30 mins matching your major pieces with the look you want. Write down on the side what you need to buy generally, don't just follow links to specific items that could be overpriced (e.g. grey chino, brown chukka's, etc.). Then proceed to buy these items at the lowest cost and the highest quality. If you can't, trust me it's much easier to help a friend buy a grey chino than getting asked "I need help with shopping and fashion!"

This way it's fast, personalized to your personality (fucking crucial, you want to be congruent, can't wear street rocker and act bubbly bright comedian), you now know what looks good through pinterest, and you know what you could buy to look this way. Needless to say, lift to look like these models before wondering why that simple sexy white V-neck looks bad with a huge gut.
