How can I put together a stylish and non-frumpy interview outfit?

  • A lot of people have mentioned this, but your bra should not be showing. Wear a light colored bra and a camisole to be safe. I think this is your biggest issue because some interviewers won't care about clothes or fashion, but virtually anyone would notice if undergarments are showing.

  • You seem very small from your photos, so it may be hard to find clothes that are the right length for you. Just a general tip would be to maybe see if there are stores that sell shorter sleeves for your shirts and stuff.

  • I love your black blazer that you wear with the dress. Whatever sweater or blazer you wear, I suggest leaving it unbuttoned.

  • The fact that you're wearing black tights is a good idea imo.

  • Besides your bra showing, the problem I see with the dress outfit is that the sleeves look strange with the way you rolled them. I'm not sure if there is a way to fix this or make it look better.

  • Unfortunately, the white top seems a little big on you.

  • I would go for the dress and blazer, with a nude bra, pale camisole, and try to fix up the sleeves so that they don't do that weird thing they're doing currently.

  • You're very young, and you say the interview is pretty informal, so I really don't think you need to exaggerate and wear a suit, or pencil skirt or something. The important thing is to look clean, neat, and age-appropriate. My biggest suggestion to you is to make sure that your whole outfit goes together and that the details work. What I mean by that is that your hair is done neatly, you're wearing delicate subtle makeup (or none at all if you're uncomfortable with makeup), you don't have clashing accessories (if you have pierced ears, make sure you wear simple and matching earrings), things like that that will make you look "put together."

Good luck!
