I've learned the hard way you can be the most confident guy around and it isn't worth one day when you're 4ft tall and look like a perpetual 12 yr old.
I did commercial and shortfilms as a kid, was first chair in every band and quartet, and lead in almost every play, I loved being on stage. I was the one who got things going at parties, I was the one who talked to the girls first at bars, I wingmaned for so many friends, but never was good enough for a girl myself.
It doesn't matter how funny or kind you are, none of those things matter when they are stuck in a child's frame. Doesn't matter how much I work out, I'm a foot shorter than every girl, I've been rejected by everyone I've ever liked without a chance.
