How much money do you guys think Andrew Luck will be getting?

If I'm retarded, you must be blind. Have you actually watched your team? Name your running backs this year. Shane Vereen, Steven Ridley, LeGarrette Blount, Jonas Grey. Go back historically. Kevin Faulk, Sammy Morris, BJGE, Corey Dillon, Laurence Maroney, Antowain Smith, and I'm sure I'm missing someone. You want to know why you produce so few thousand yard backs? Because its an arbitrary and made up benchmark that has no relevance to Bill Belichick. Belichick realized that timeshares were effective and that pass catching backs were useful ahead of the curve. Oh, and that he could plug and play anyone and get pretty good results. That is why he immediately benches backs that fumble.

Note, I didn't say Brady wasn't good. I said the Pats were good around Brady and that the Colts are bad around Luck. I don't know why you have such a persecution complex that admitting your team is good and others are bad is so hard for you. Belichick has done a great job drafting and developing players. He has done a great job scheming on both offense and defense. He has done a great job managing the cap. The roster quality from top to bottom is good. What kind of idiocy does it take to pretend otherwise?

It isn't just running backs you guys do it. Its receivers too. Yeah, Brady hasn't had a lot of thousand yard receivers either. Well, except for the stable of pass catching backs and the advent of tight ends like Gronk and Hernandez. Not to mention the receivers you have had like Randy Moss and Wes Welker.

You have not been derelict of talent. Brady is not willing the team to 12 wins ever year. The Pats are an extremely well run organization that is constantly ahead of the innovation curve in the NFL. They are a great team. You're an idiot if you think otherwise. The Colts are like the opposite. They make bad signings and trades, their drafts haven't been the greatest, their defense blows, their line is porous, their coaching is questionable (they wanted to be a power run team...), and their owner has been to rehab. Night and day differences. Andrew Luck has been tremendous and deserves the kudos he gets.
