How reliable is the sage test?

I have 2 philosophical issues with these tests:

1) It makes the assumption that cis and trans are binary. That is, either you identify with the social expectations of your natal gender and you're cis, or you identify with the social expectations of your opposite gender, and you're trans. It takes people who are in the middle and places them to the closest extreme, which ignores SO many factors that contribute to your gender identity.

2) People who take these tests are naturally biased to answer questions that will lead to a specific outcome. That's not to say you do this, but if you think you're a trans woman, you're more prone to give answers that will give off the impression that you're "female" whether you're telling the truth or not. Deciding that you're cis or trans or something in the middle is something you need to figure out. And, in my experience, any good therapist will tell you the same thing. They may help you figure it out, but it's your decision. My doctor has plenty of patients that straddle the line between cis and trans. If you don't 100% identify as your natal gender, there are options that don't involve a full-on transition overnight.
