How to respond to these antitheist attack against Christianity/religion?

Some extreme antitheists regard religion as extremely harmful ideology because of the blatant violent teachings on its religious scriptures. They contend that there is no way around these violent passages. They are simply what they are. And that religious apologists dismiss these passages as being taken "out of context" or "misinterpreted" only to excuse the obvious and inexcusable disturbing teachings of religion.

Well forgive me for sounding so rude, but that is so fucking stupid. To take a random passage out of a book and not to actually interpret or understand the passage in the narrative makes one a complete dumbass, and if an atheist does that they're retarded. It'd be like taking the final scene of Romeo and Juliet and labelling it some kind of suicide cult play, encouraging young people to commit suicide. Now, if the passage could be understood in the narrative and in the tradition, and they could make some argument from that as how it leads to violence or causes violence, that would be a valid argument. But no atheist ever does that.

Most religious people cherrypick their scriptures, are aware of its flawed violent teachings but ignore them and focus only on the peaceful parts. By doing so, they are not living by book and thus are not true believers of their religion. It is the extremists and terrorists who follow ALL of the teachings of their scriptures, even the violent ones, that are the ones who truly represent their religion. In short, moderates are false believers. It is religious extremists that are the real ones.

If you ask me, it's pretty goddamn arrogant to exclude someone from being in a group one doesn't even belong to.
