How TPG charged me for no service.

Seems like the mods have removed my post, while I'm still seeing it - it's showing up as [deleted] for everyone else. I'll try to post it in this message, hope I don't get banned.

Move in to a new apartment. Look for good reviews on internet providers and find TPG on reddit. Gets happy. Gets online starts to order TPG. Enters address into TPG site and finds NBN is not available but ADSL 2 is. Oh well. Orders ADLS 2 including modem month-to-month, pay around $300 odd for everything. Receives modem. Gets excited and plugs it all up awaiting installation. About a week goes by. Gets call from TPG. "Hello". "Hi, we've got an issue, your address has NBN and we can't give you ADSL 2, can you verify the address". Verifies address and finds that they say NBN is available. Explain how NBN is showing up as not available on site. Agree to give me a "full refund" and promises to get back to me on NBN issue as "NBN IS available at my address" and asks for return of modem. I return modem, return without destroying any packaging and pain staking task of getting router to delivery guy. Days go by. No call. I call back and gloss over same issue. Mails sent. No replies. Goes and buys mobile wireless broadband and sends one more mail to TPG. TPG replies "your refund has been processed". Few more days go by. I check bank account to find I received $179 from the $300 odd I spent. Expletives @ TPG!
