I don't think i would block him on the last platform you both were on. I get both your and his perspectives. He is trying to work in law enforcement, and wants to be super careful about what they will find when an in depth search & analysis of his social media is made. Its not personal. He might not of handled that with great maturity, but it sounds like he wasn't trying to ghost you completely, which is what your action did. As friends, giving the benefit if the doubt would have showed you cared about remaining friends. You chose to cut him off completely. From his perspective, you might appear as someone that does not want to associate with him since he us going into law enforcement.
