As someone who has been tested within the last 6 months and specifically asked "for everything" even though I want sexually active (but about to be) this is what my doc said:
Almost everyone on Earth has HSV in some form and doesn't know it, therefore the test is unreliable because almost everyone will test positive to antibodies. There's no way to tell whether it will affect you or not.
There is no test for men for HPV. Most men are carriers, and that's why protection is super important. Because they can give women cancer and have no symptoms at all.
