A supposed discrimination in one industry is an advantage in another. Wages many times don't really reflect work input. Read my example about how all men's jobs are being outsourced or taken over by immigrants meanwhile with expanding government and bureaucratic functions, women's job market is growing. A slight different in wages don't matter here - would you rather be a construction worker or some office bureaucrat downtown? No way men have it easier in any imaginable setting.
