People make mistakes every day that are a lot worse than just getting a car towed. People cheat on their spouses, they get fired, they let down their children, they stay in toxic relationships, they hurt those they love, they make bad investments. Or they lash out in anger at strangers on the internet and call them retarded.

Usually these things are a result of pain and hardship that they don't know how to deal with in a healthy way.

These people are still worthy of respect, still worthy of sympathy, still worthy of love, still worthy of being treated like a human being.

In the grand scheme of things getting a car towed is an incredibly minor issue. One that hopefully they learn from and won't repeat.
