I'm having a really hard time with my soon to be ex-roomate. Anyone else want to share some horrible roommate stories to make me feel better?

Oooh! I have a good one!

So a few years ago I had this awesome roommate. After our lease was up we decided to take over the lease on my uncle's house and move into a nice 3 bedroom place with a big yard. Well, my cousin had nowhere to go so she stayed. No big deal, 3 rooms, 3 people, another person to pay rent and she was my roommates friend and my family. But this girl was fucking lazy. Like laziest of the lazy ok.

She had a room connected to the main bathroom that had an entrance from the hallway as well. She would leave CRUSTY dirty panties face up in the bathroom floor. And wouldn't get them up ever. We all had to use that bathroom. Along with that were dirty socks and clothes in general. When she showered finally she would use our products to the point that we all had to keep our razors, shampoo, toothpaste, etc. in our room because she would use all of it. She was always smelly, always complained. Never paid stuff on time. NEVER did dishes or swept or cleaned in general. I can count on one hand how many times she did all of those things. We had house meetings about her, we tried to establish boundaries, but she ignored it all. When we kept our straighteners and cigarettes in our room would come in and steal them while we were sleeping or gone. We hated her using our brushes and straighteners because she never washed her hair and it would be caked with oil and dandruff.

The best part though. She had pets. A wonderful dog who she completely, and still does, neglected. I mean she wouldn't feed her, walk her, run her. She put choke collars on her. Yelled and beat her. If the dog ran out of food she would just feed her cat food until someone bought dog food for HER dog. We all had to take care of her pets. Her dog has anxiety, health problems, missing fur, and definite separation anxiety because of this girl. We all were pissed. She kept the dog locked in her room with her as long as she was home. Mind you, this is a big German Shepard/blue heeler mix so she needs to be played with.

After we left everyone kind of quit talking to her unless we had to. She became homeless for a bit and lived on couches. She couldn't get a place on her own and several people that I talked to said that she asked to be roomates and refused because of how she treats her pets. Nevermind that she's just gross, she's just a shit person to animals and sees them as property.

Fun bonus story: she asked me and my boyfriend a couple months ago if we could watch her dog until she got into a place. Of course! I love her dog and we have a big house with a huge yard and we fucking love dogs. We took her in, but when we got her she was missing patches of fur, had anxiety so bad she would chew herself and other things, flea infestation, and was skinny as fuck. When we got her she didn't even come with food or food bowls. We spent $400 that day getting stuff that dog needed. We kept her for two months and that dog was happy. I mean she was fucking happy. I've never in my life seen that dog so happy just to be alive in the world. She had her fur back, bathed regularly, no fleas. It was amazing. She went to lakes, parks, car rides. It really was quite the turnaround.

We didnt want to give her back because we knew how neglected she would be. We called my family and explained the situation and EVERYONE, I mean even her siblings, told us to keep the dog and not let her take her back. But her dad threw a fit. Why? Because he didn't want to listen to my cousin whine and bitch. Even our friends told us to keep her. Well, we didn't. She got her back and two months later the dog is in a disgusting apartment with a shit tone of other pets, never goes anywhere, her anxiety is back and the bitch had the nerve to tell everyone that when we had her that all we did was feed her and let her sit in the house to get fat. The fucking dog wasn't fat at all. AT ALL. She didnt even say thank you. What a horrible human.

Sorry for the wall of text. End rant. Also on mobile so sorry for errors.
