I'm not a millennial, but if I was I'd be damn tired of another article every other day with a new theory about who millennials are and what they want.

Listen, I know it's easy to feel like you're starting to run out of time by pushing 30. But you're really not. You have your whole life ahead of you. Statistically, that's probably at least another 30 years. That's a long time to meet someone and start a family.

Now, as someone who didn't get to do the whole "college experience" thing, I'm jealous of you. Go have fun! I have an exceptionally intelligent wife (she's a badass React developer working at a startup) and we've been together over a decade and love each other to death. I'm also completely satisfied with our relationship in every way, and don't want anything outside of it. That said, being in a situation where you're around a bunch of like-minded people who are looking for a good time who aren't afraid to be immature is a pretty unique situation. It's fun! Go relax and have fun dude. It's really easy to get caught up in the "could they be the one for me?" mentality and miss out on what's in front of you. And as someone who's also pushing 30 and probably won't ever be in your situation, I wish I'd had your opportunity to hang out with crazy/immature/hilarious random people. Because at the end of all that, my wife and I would've still ended up together, which is all that counts. Whereas I've seen my best friend spiral into depression by trying to do that exact thing: put intelligence on a pedestal, then do whatever it takes to get it. Surprise, turns out she was fucking 20 and didn't know herself, so yes, she was extremely smart, but also discovered she was gay. Pow! People hardly know themselves or what they want at that age, and if he had just taken a more relaxed viewpoint, he'd have had a great college experience and would've still ended up in an equivalent situation, sans the soul-crushing depression. Anyway, yes, just go take your "it's not THAT difficult to find a different girl every 9 hours who's willing to please you" and frickin enjoy it while you're in the environment! :P
