I'm not trying to pretend to be a fair juror here': Graham predicts Trump impeachment will 'die quickly' in Senate "This thing will come to the Senate, and it will die quickly, and I will do everything I can to make it die quickly,"

i mean, trump is a shady person and he’s a moron, but the committee behind this investigation has provided no concrete proof. most of their “evidence” consists of witness of what they saw or heard, many of which contradict each other. take this to any unbiased judge in the US and they will tell you that word-of-mouth is not evidence. it’s the perfect example of why you can’t just go into a police station and say “jeff raped me.” they can’t arrest him just because you said that. if we arrested/impeached/charged everyone who was just accused of doing something wrong, there would be millions of innocent people being wrongfully punished. i’m not saying trump shouldn’t be punished, i’m sure if congress keeps an eye out they’ll catch him on something, but shoving these witness accounts down americans’ throats is only going to convert to more support for the conservative side. on top of that, if trump gets impeached, we’ll have to deal with pence.
