I've made a terrible mistake....

Reminds me of having to pick up a load of deli meats outside of Columbia, SC, where the broker gave me incorrect directions to the processing plant.

The directions said to follow the road until I reached a "Y" and take the left branch. Then at take the first right off of that road and I would find the plant.

That lead to the wife and I were looking at a sketchy bridge with a lovely "4T" sign.

It took us a bit to back out the mile or so until we reached a spot where I felt comfortable enough to push the trailer off into a bean field and drive out.

Anyway, the directions should have been to make the right hand turn first, then take the left arm at the "Y".

This was in the early 80's, so no cell phones.
