Bill HB3884 The MORE Act will be voted on by the House Today Wed. Nov. 20th 2019.
If Bill HB3884 passes it won’t mean anything at all legally speaking because it still has a long journey before it becomes a law. Like that Schoolhouse Rock Video, a Bill needs to make it through the House and Senate first, then it requires a final approval.
After passing the House vote, the Bill will be sent to the Senate to be examined and approved/denied by a Senate committee. If approved by that Senate committee the Bill moves to the Senate floor to be voted on again by the Senate. If the Bill passes the Senate it is passes along to the President for one of 3 things will happen, 1) approval signature making it a law 2) denial by veto 3) denial by ignoring it for a couple weeks.
