Jabhat al-Nusra executes regime POW from al-Mastouma by machine gun fire.

The SAA will never rule all of Syria again, the world won't let ISIL rule Syria, and Nusra is 8000 guys. So forgive me if I say you are the one living in a fantasy.

Syria will control 100% of its pre-war territory again, but the only other alternative is war without end so ultimately it will be their choice, because Syria is never backing down and has nowhere to go. The insurgents can fuck off back to Turkmenistan, Libya, Turkey, Dagestan, west London, Kuwait, Tunisia, Egypt, and points beyond.

As for Nusra, their numbers have fluctuated but even if true it just goes to show how useless over-focusing on number of combatants is when they've consistently punched above their weight and led offensives on nearly every front they're active. And if ISIL's territory begins contracting and they suffer heavy blows in the future, most will be defecting to their ideological brethren in Nusra.

that is our point of divergence because you see any group not fighting for Assad as being garbage.

If they bear arms against our President and the only legal and legitimate government of the Syrian Arab Republic, successor to the great Syrian empires of past and sole flag-bearer of the continued aspiration of Arab independence from Westerners and their kennel-kept attack dogs in Arabian peninsula then yes, absolutely. No distinction should be made between liberal insurgents (lol, talk about a minority..), big tent Islamist insurgents and hardened Salafist and Wahhabi insurgents (not to mention the Afghan and Pakistani Deobandis in the rebellion's ranks) who believe they represent the one true Islam.

All are enemies of the state, and if they want to declare Dr. Assad an enemy than millions upon millions of Syrians are their enemy as well. President Assad is no longer just president but he is the people as well. The presidency has become one with the nation for all time.
