So this dave chappelle keeps coming up. At first I assumed he raped or assaulted a transgender person or something else particularly heinous. But turns out all he did was some jokes.

Why do we care so much about a joke from a comedian? I'm more concerned with actual things that impact transgender lives.

Things that DO matter:

1. Accessibility of HRT, without gatekeeping
2. Support for minors who are trans
3. access to facilities such as restrooms based on trans people's gender (as oppose to their AGAB)
4. Reduction in violent crime
5. basic respect, such as avoiding the following behaviors: Misgendering, deadnaming

Things that don't matter:

1. transphobic jokes by comedians
2. GTA transphobic stereotypes
