Judge blocks Arkansas from enforcing 4 abortion restrictions

Like I said, your right to believe what you want ends when it comes time to legislate.

That's not how debate works. In fact, if it was, slavery would still be legal and blacks wouldn't have any rights.

I'm not proposing a law that would force abortions on people who aren't ready to have children.

Um, correct. Why are you saying this. I didn't say, or suggest otherwise. Is this the part where you bring up something completely nonsensical, attribute it to me, and argue against that in order to distract people?

Stop being dishonest!

The other side is trying to legislate their perspective, hence every comment I've written thus far.

So is our side!!! We're winning, but our side is doing the same thing. Legislating our stances.

You keep misrepresenting me, this isn't about listening to people.

From you:

We have no obligation to make space for these people...

That line doesn't make sense if you're just talking about lawmaking, and not listening to people as well. It would seem that you don't want to make space for people to speak, but are now saying that it's not about listening to people.

It seems that I'm representing what you said very well.

Like I keep telling you, you are entitled to your opinion, but that ends at the law.

That's not how lawmaking works. The entire legal system is just people's collective opinions laid down into laws and then enforced. You can keep telling me things that aren't true, and it'll still be not true. You are entitled to your opinion, and yet the law is only going to acknowledge that if you convince enough people and they make it their opinion.

More personal attacks.

Telling someone that their arguments have been dishonest isn't a personal attack. If I cannot criticize what you say, then we cannot have a debate.

It seems like whenever you get frustrated with someone who disagrees with you, you have to find character flaws.

No, whenever someone lies to me, I call their arguments dishonest. It's calling a spade a spade. Meanwhile, whenever you say something dishonest, you then seem to want me to ignore that and are implying that it's more mature to ignore open lies.

It's a character flaw to lie like this, but to this point, I'm talking about your actions to this point, not your character. You have failed at being honest to this point. I'm sorry if you find that to be a problem, but if you do, stop being dishonest and it goes away.
