Judge blocks Trump order on sanctuary city funding

Isn't that ideal though? NO! Or more politely "I disagree". The brilliance of the Constitution (in my lowly opinion) is that its designed to limit Federal intrusion regardless of well meaning popular support. We know this because it established several firewalls in the bill of rights designed purely to limit federal power while retaining individual rights. Don't believe me: review the first 10 amendments and tell me their focus - the state shall OR the state shall NOT ?

So, (speaking as a non trump guy) Trump promises healthcare and DEMANDS (via approved legislature) you quarter doctors in your home to achieve that end result. Lets presume it reduces healthcare expense, and provided healthcare to all....are you still OK with the Federal Government enforcing by gunpoint that doctors can live wherever they demand? You might, but should everyone else open up their home at the demand of "the" Government? Absurd scenario, perhaps, but review the 3rd amendment.

Your remaining argument is also well reasoned. Thank you internet for people that aren't complete a-holes when dsicussing matters where two folks might disagree!
