When I was about 10 I practically lived at my friend's house. We'd spend most of the day in his room playing video games or making action movies in his background. His family was very very Christian and I guess concerned that I was playing with him all the time (I'm a girl). Eventually they got a camera installed in his room and I didn't think anything of it at the time until we went downstairs to grab a snack and saw his mother, grandmother, and nanny gathered on the couch watching his room on tv. I asked him about it and he just shrugged it off like it was normal that they'd be watching him and I guess back then that was enough to make me think it was normal too.

Fast forward a year or two and I begin to realize my friend is seriously disturbed. We were playing one day and all of a sudden he runs to the kitchen and tries to stab himself in the stomach with one of those huge bread knives. His nanny came in and was punishing him and he was crying about how he sees demons in the pool and all this stuff. This was pretty scary for me as an 11 year old and I wanted to go home but they wouldn't let me leave the room until he was calmed down.

Fast forward another year and apparently he had developed a crush or something on me. The rule in my house was no dating until we were 16 so I told him and he was upset but backed down. Or so I thought. I guess he had asked my sister if I could date him and she told him the same rule I told him. Well he wasn't too happy about that choked her.

TL;DR neighbor's parents watched surveillance of us playing, he tried to kill himself in front of me and nanny made me watch, he eventually choked (probably tried to kill) my sister because I wouldn't date him.
