A kid in my town was riding his skateboard in the park. It’s a $20 civil infraction at worst, but usually just a warning and only then if someone complains.

This older guy walked across the park and yelled at him about it (witnesses say the kid wasn’t bothering anyone and off in an area by himself) the kid told him to pound sand, so the guy knocked him off his board and took it.

The kid calls the cops and when they got there, the old hero walks up to them holding the board like he caught fucking Osama. In the end, they charged the guy with strong arm robbery, assault and batter and disorderly conduct. The robbery charge was dropped, the other 2 stuck and he was banned from the park for life.

I fucking hate people that do this shit. They see someone doing something “they’re not supposed to “ and can’t just mind their own fucking business. There is a special kind of insanity when it comes to kids skateboarding. In no other situation do people think it’s perfectly justified to take someone’s property because they are annoying you.
