D.M.T. is a chemical that HST was allegedly acquainted with. This chemical, for those that don't know, is arguably the most powerful hallucinogenic known. The crazy thing is that this chemical exists naturally in our brains in the Pineal gland. The levels of this chemical in a study by Dr. Rick Straussman are noted to elevate in the brain 3 times in the course of a humans life: birth, death, and REM sleep. It is theorized that this chemical is responsible for the ushering in of the "soul" upon birth and out upon death, and may be responsible for dreams. When smoked or injected, DMT is alleged to transport the soul to the ultimate reality, one is able to bear witness to their true self. In short, the universe is explained and users are reported to have long lasting sense of relief and peace after taking it.
