A Little Boy Was Murdered, But This Columnist Decided The REAL Story Was Pants

Don't you think it's odd that it was so "spectacularly inappropriate" that he was allowed to wear it while working at NASA, and during a press conference?

The truth is that no, it wouldn't get him thrown out of anywhere but middle and highschool. You might argue that you can't wear that in your place of work, but he's not at your place of work. He's at NASA and apparently he passed the dress code well enough to talk to the press.

And by the way, it's not a one an a million chance that men won't get looked at appropriately for what their wearing. Except that's what happens all the time because it's not just an American-only or women's-only issue.

Criticism of appearance and body shaming happens all the time that happens every day to everybody of every demographic, including men. It's done by all kinds of shitty people, also from every demographic. Pretending that people judging men by their appearance is a one-in-a-million chance is nothing short of willful ignorance.
