[LPT REQUEST] A lip balm that actually works?

Late to the party but I hope it helps someone: Victoria's Secret lip glosses [https://www.victoriassecret.com/beauty/all-makeup/shiny-kiss-flavored-gloss-beauty-rush?ProductID=227341&CatalogueType=OLS] Since I was a child, dry and chapped lips were an issue for which I've used so many treatments: home remedies like Vicks vaporub, medical lip balms, over the counter lip balms, each one promising to be the one. Friends and relatives will be always giving me or recommending me options to no avail. During winter it was even worst, but summer was also tough on my lips, I increased my water consumption but it didn't make a difference. Smiling would be painful, peeling away the dry skin became a habit of mine (for which everybody rebuked me), leaving me with bloody lips (that also sometimes happened overnight by itself). I was so self-conscious about my lips and at least lip glosses would help me covered it a little bit, but at the end of the day they only made it worst. All that changed when a co-worker gave me some VS lip glosses as a birthday present and suddenly I noticed how I would wake up with dry/chapped lips and after applying the gloss in the morning, by noon they appeared to be healed! Since that day I haven't stopped using then, however, beauty fashion changed and it was lipsticks with bold colors, which of course I had to wear, so the cycle started again, until I began applying the gloss at night when going to sleep and removing it in the morning in the shower. It's like a spa for my lips every night! I can forgo applying it one or two nights, but not more than that, but I don't care, after all those years of suffering I can have a painless smile :)
tl;dr Victoria's secret lip glosses changed my lips (and my life!)
