That's basically how it works. It's not so easy, though. If you can remember back to before you knew a skill . . . even though it seems easy to you now, as if all you had to do was wake up to how easy it is . . . you couldn't possibly just snap your fingers and realize how easy it is. You had to go through a complicated process to realize something so simple. Or, if you think of how you feel about someone . . . you couldn't just snap your fingers and feel that way about them. It's really hard to skip all those intermediate steps, and that's what we have to play out in this material world. You *could* instantly awaken to enlightenment. If you did it just the right way, you could command a mountain to move. There's just a lot more to it than deciding one day to take control of reality. I believe miracles are possible because I've achieved small gains in my own life, gains that I thought were impossible, but gains still that seem easy now and miraculous. I've had moments where the impossible seems to happen for no good reason. Knowing this, though, I can't just turn it on and do it whenever.
