Actually, not any psychologist would tell you that. Freud, a rather famous psychologist, had a lot to say about sexuality and youth. There is plenty of evidence from parallel studies that strongly correlates sexual preferences to past traumatic and non traumatic events, done by researchers, done by psychologists.

I'm not saying it made you gay, and I'm not trying to say you wouldn't be gay if that didn't happen.

What I am saying is there's a lot we don't understand about sexuality and child development, so you probably shouldn't talk out your ass. Who you are is cool, and no one should judge you for living your life, but lets not pidgeonhole scientific research because it offends your identity.
