It's off the topic but I'm curious. Do you date someone who cannot afford your life style?

I have a couple of single female friends who are financially well off. They don't use OKC and are very very selective on dating (one is using the paid match making service). They kind of condescend on my using OKC.

Another friend who is not that much wealthy but financially survival. She dated a guy who was financially unstable. Later, he moved in her place because he got laid off. They liver together about 3-4 months and she finally broke up with him and kicked him out of her place. I know a couple of other girls who also had a hard time like this. The worst case was my friend kicked out a single daddy (with a kid) who she had dated, and he kept using her credit card.

One of the wealthy friends I mentioned above once dated a guy who couldn't afford her lifestyle. She ended up paying most of the dating expenses. The guy wanted to move in with her but she only wanted to date him. She didn't want to plan the future with him. The guy called it the end.

So the money is not everything in a relationship but truly it matters.

I wonder whether you are selective or you just don't care.
